Every campaign looks inevitable once it is finished. On set, it is a series of small decisions made quickly, most of them invisible in the final images.
Starting with a constraint
For After Dark we gave ourselves one rule: no light that could not plausibly exist on a Paris street at night. That single constraint shaped the locations, the wardrobe, and the pace of the shoot.
The day itself
We shot across two nights with a crew of nine. The schedule was built around four key frames, with everything else treated as a bonus.
What stayed, what went
Around a third of what we shot made the final edit. The frames that survived were the quiet ones.
